Hard to say if we will ever know, but of all the ways to injure yourself I'd have to say this is one of the most bizarre I've ever heard. Regardless, with the Clippers sitting 4th in the Western Conference and heading into the home stretch of the season, they definitely need Griffin as they get tuned up for the playoffs, and instead he's going to be out a while longer because for some reason, the equipment manager pissed him off.
